Happy FRIYAY my beautiful bloggers! This Friday is even better than most because it’s a longgggg weeeekend! I hope you guys have some fun in the sun planned. I plan on going make up shopping because it’s also payday 😉
It’s been pretty hot and humid here in Vancouver these last few days. Humidity is a huuuge makeup killer, and I have been battling it with face mists! Some I use as setting sprays, others purely as refreshers, so keep reading and see which skin mists I recommend!
- Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist: This is my first Tatcha product. I got it after seeing Amrezy (my goddess) snapchatting about it and figured it’d be nice to try. The smell of it definitely isn’t for everyone but I personally really like it. Most of my makeup looks are done super-matte, so this is nice to spray on if I want more of a dewy finish. It’s not sticky at all and really makes your skin glow. It’s also a great setting spray.
- Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Water: This one is amazing! I keep it beside my bed and spray it whenever I’m feeling too sweaty, hot or oily in the face and use it as a daily refresher or even if I wake up in the middle of the night. It smells of roses and is made with coconut water so it’s extremely healthy for your face, and 100% soothing for sensitive skin. For added freshness, keep in the fridge and take out when you are dying of heat.
- Caudalie Beauty Elixir – This one is my morning go to. It’s minty and wakes me up in the mornings on those extra sleepy days. The smell is just divine, like all Caudalie products! Generally I use this as a refresher, and before I put any makeup on. Other than grape extract, it’s also made out of many different oils and is very healthy for your skin!
- Pixi by Petra Makeup Fixing Mist – This is one of my favorite products ever! Made with rose water and green tea, this spray is not only the MOST refreshing one out of all of these, it is also amazing at keeping my make up in place aaaall day long. I like keeping this one in my purse and throwing in a few sprays while I’m at work just to keep myself awake. Pixi is slowly becoming one of my favorite skin care brands, and this spray is my #1!
All in all, I would recommend any of these four to any one. They are all unique in their own way and all do what they are supposed too!
What sprays do you guys use & which ones keep you refreshed during the hot summer weather?
