My favorite beauty guru/youtuber since forever has been NikkieTutorials (check out her youtube page here). I just think that she is incredibly talented, down to earth and weird af thus making her hilarious. I make sure to catch her snaps and insta stories as often as I can and I noticed that she was constantly raving about this peptide whitening mask from OFRA Cosmetics so naturally, I had to order it after looking at her glowing skin when she’d wash it off.

I had heard of OFRA previously through the beauty youtuber world, but had never tried anything from them, so I was really going at it based on one beauty guru’s praise and was a bit nervous before applying because I’ve never used anything with peptides (that I’m aware of, anyway) and wasn’t sure how my skin would react to it. I can safely say that I LOVE this mask. It has an interesting scent that I can’t quite describe, but it’s very subtle. The mask itself is quite a thick texture, making it very easy to apply to the face (though a bit tedious to wash off because its so soft). OFRA recommends it for normal and combination skin, using it once a week (twice if necessary) but I use it a biiiit more than that. This mask aims at correcting your skins pigmentation and can be used on your body as well as your face. I’ve noticed my skin has become significantly less red which is exactly what I was hoping for. It’s also extremely soft and smooth. Peptides are great anti-agers, oil absorbers and wrinkle minimizers so this is a great investment for me being in my mid-twenties now (sadly it’s time to start the anti-aging process lol!). The mask is a bit on the pricey side for me ($59.00USD) because after the conversion to CDN and shipping it ends up being around $80.00 CDN, but for 200ml of product I don’t feel as bad considering other masks I have are the same price and only 50ml. OFRA Cosmetics is also cruelty-free and they use all natural, vegan-friendly ingredients which is a huuuuge bonus.

Also, I am super excited because OFRA has a new collab with Nikkie and I will ooooobviously need to buy it which I’m okay with as I’d like to try some of their makeup and see if its as good as the skincare. Have you guys used any OFRA products? Let me know if you recommend anything else that I should try.

Much love,

  1. I’ve never tried OFRA skincare before but when I’ve ordered the liquid lipsticks I got little samples of their creams and they worked really well! I’ve been on a skincare craze recently so perhaps I’ll need to look at OFRA products again. I find $80 to be very steep but if it works then it’s got to be worth it!
